An amazing exhibition opening!

Thanks to all that attended my presentation and exhibition of language in context in world comic book literature and children's stories at the Adelaide Comic and Toy Fair on April 23.

It was fantastic connecting with the greater Adelaide community and fellow language teaching professionals during the exhibition's run and discussing the use of the comic book as a communication medium in the second language classroom.

Special thanks to my support crew for a smooth bump in and out of the event!

Series One of inspirational women of pop culture explored the lives of Bettie Page and Frida Kahlo, both icons of fashion and art are celebrated around the world by an ever-growing volume of admirers.

During this presentation, I investigated their influence on global society whetting the appetites of Frida Kahlo fans for the fast-approaching Frida Kahlo exhibition at the Art Gallery of South Australia.
