Stuart is a graduate of Flinders University in South Australia with a Bachelor of Languages Degree and a Honours Degree Bachelor of Arts. He is in the final semester of his Master of Language Studies Degree.

Stuart is pictured here with his Honours Degree thesis investigation of la bande dessinée, specifically, the adventures of Tintin and his creator. Stuart has furthered his investigation of the literature in his Masters Degree thesis investigation of the stereotypes, representations, and controversies in the Tintin albums and other comic book literature.

Pop Culture Conventions

Keynote Speaker at Supanova Comic Con and Gaming at the Adelaide Showgrounds, November 3, 2018. I presented a linguistic workshop on languages that have been created for the entertainment industry.

As part of Stuart's Winter Speaking Tour during July and August 2018, Stuart was the keynote speaker at Game Obsession Pop Culture Expo in regional South Australia in the City of Mannum. He presented his thesis investigation of Tintin's creator and the controversies that surrounded his employment as an illustrator during the Second World War.   

Stuart was part of a panel of keynote speakers at the State Library of South Australia, and his presentation investigated science fiction to science fact. Do the two intertwine and connect, are they contradictory?

Stuart was a featured keynote speaker at national science week, August 2018. 

Stuart was a keynote speaker at AVCON; Adelaide's Anime and Video Games Festival on July 21, 2018, and he presented his investigation of Manga's influence in European and American Comic Book literature and Culture.

French Festivals

Stuart has been flown around Australia to speak at French Festivals and Literary events on the subject of Franco/Belgian comic book literature.

Stuart enjoyed a sellout attendance of his three day keynote speaking event at the Paris to Provence French Festival of Melbourne as part of his national speaking tour: Tintin Unmasked.

Stuart was a keynote speaker at the Bonjour Perth French Festival as part of his national speaking tour: Tintin Unmasked.  

Stuart was the featured keynote speaker at the City of Unley Town Hall to two bilingual (French/English) schools on the subject of Franco/Belgian comic book literature. 

Stuart is an active keynote speaker on the literary circuit in the field of la bande dessinée (Franco/Belgian comic book literature).
