A fantastic year thus far... Are you coming along for the ride!

¡Hola!

I received a wonderful testimony from the Latin American Society of South Australia regarding my work and colleagues with students studying English for professional and personal development as part of the society's English and Spanish programs.

Testimonial from the Latin American Society of South Australia

Stuart, we cannot be thankful enough for your support and enormous dedication and professionalism. We are sure that the value offered by you and your colleagues to your / our students at LASSA has no comparison. We feel so privileged and when the numbers increasing in the overall to over 300 students and counting- we are so proud of the initiative that started humbly two years with ten students.

On behalf of LASSA our appreciation to you all. Great work.
Eduardo Donoso.
LASSA - Chairman

Thanks to the Latin American Society for their kind words and these beautiful photo banners demonstrating my work!

The language program I present incorporates a new methodology I created called ©Language in Action which I launched at the School of Languages in 2022 to great acclaim!

The lesson uses comic book literature in the target language as a communication medium challenging the learner to design a short comic strip and present their story to the group.
The result speaks for itself, with the entire class completing the exercise in the allocated time and presenting their adventure!
The methodology augments one's self-confidence and decreases inhibition in the language learner.
More keynotes on the way!
I had an enthusiastic attendance of scholars and aficionados of comic book literature during the presentation!
I'm seen here presenting excerpts of my thesis investigation of la bande dessinée franco-belge, specifically language, context, and stereotypes in period comic book literature and children's stories.
