Stuart is a graduate of Flinders University in South Australia with a Bachelor of Languages Degree and a Honours Degree Bachelor of Arts. He is in the final semester of his Master of Language Studies Degree.

Stuart is pictured here with his Honours Degree thesis investigation of la bande dessinée, specifically, the adventures of Tintin and his creator. Stuart has furthered his investigation of the literature in his Masters Degree thesis investigation of the stereotypes, representations, and controversies in the Tintin albums and other comic book literature.

What's new with Stu - May 2019!

Mega Toy Fair - Adelaide Showgrounds - June 1 and 2

I'll be at Australia's largest rare toy and collectable fair this coming June 1 and 2 at the Adelaide Showgrounds, so be sure to visit my expo stand during the event. I will be speaking about my current thesis investigation of the issues of human rights and racism in la bande dessinée! (Franco/Belgian comic book literature), specifically, the adventures of Tintin, as well as the next stages of my national speaking tour!  

Adelaide Comic-con and Toy Fair, April 14

There was a fantastic attendance at the Adelaide Comic Con and Toy Fair last weekend, and I enjoyed a great event of marketing and promotion of the next stage of my national speaking tour - Tintin Unmasked.

I also spoke to the visiting public about my current thesis investigation of the adventures of Tintin, and his creator.

Submission of my second thesis is only 3 months away!

I'm on final countdown as I draw closer to the submission of my second thesis investigation of the Tintin character and his creator.

European comic book presentation at Greenlight Comics - Adelaide, Feb 9!

A fun keynote to kick off my speaking events in 2019, and there was a great gathering of comic book fans in Greenlight Comics for my presentation of la bande dessinée, (Franco/Belgian comic book literature).

I delved into my thesis investigations of the literature, as well as discussing the influence of la bande dessinée in a global society.

The next stage of my speaking tour is in the Eastern states of Australia as well as a presentation in the United Kingdom later in the year!

I had a most enjoyable interview with 1079 Life FM presenters; Kat and Jayne talking about Tintin's 90th Birthday celebrations and the character's influence in a global society.

We also discussed my current thesis investigation and book project on the character and his creator.
